Dr. Akanksha Bansal

Dr. Akanksha Bansal embarked on her journey in medicine in 2008, earning her MBBS degree from Manipal University, Mangalore. Her dedication to alleviating pain led her to pursue further specialization, culminating in an MD in Anaesthesia from People’s University, Bhopal. Dr. Bansal’s expertise in pain management was honed during her tenure at Cytecare Cancer Hospital, Bangalore, where she developed a deep understanding of interventional pain approaches.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field of chronic pain, Dr. Bansal has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious gold medal from the Indian Academy of Pain Medicine and the Indian Society for the Study of Pain. Her commitment to excellence extends to her continuous pursuit of knowledge, as evidenced by her completion of various fellowships and her attainment of the European Diploma in Pain Medicine from Belgium.

Dr Akanksha is highly skilled in minimally interventional pain procedures done under both ultrasound and C arm guidance. She's very passionate about reliving pain of her patients.
Her treatment starts with empathetic history taking and thorough examination of all chronic pain patients. Further she gives an individualized treatment plan for each patient depending on various factors.
Treatment ranges from sessions of regenerative therapy , radio frequency ablation, ultrasound guided hydrodissection to C arm guided spinal procedures.
She's compassionate and enthusiastic to provide pain relief without surgery.
